Our Story

This is the story of a mother and her daughter. A story shaped by hands, passed down through time, and carried in every piece I create.

It began in the early 90s, in a small curio shop filled with shells, calabashes, and soul. I was just a girl, watching my mother craft beauty from nothing but earth, rhythm, and memory.

More than two decades since she passed, I’m still doing what I watched her do. Still styling. Still remembering. Still honoring.

Mama Shell Afrika is my offering — not just of décor, but of spirit. Of heritage made visible. Of silence woven into space, and a women's imapct passed on to the art & crafts community .

Because to me, a home is not just where we live. It’s where our stories rest. It’s where our ancestors breathe. It’s where Africa lives — again and again.
